Scarf-tastic!

As you read the title of this post, you may be thinking scarves and summer? I don't think so.. Well think again, scarves have always been wearable in summer, but never really, done. A lightwieght, floraly patterned is a great basic scarf for the summer season. You can add it to jean cutoffs and a basic, white tee. It shows that you put some thought into the outfit, without trying too hard. Try wrapping it in a tight, round knot like Jessica Albla has done.

A great summer ready, beige floral scarf from Gap.

Alba, known to be a scarf lover, dawns the perfect knotted summer scarf.

Little White Dress!

Yes, I'm sure you've heard LBD before, little white dress. But this summer the LWD is the trending IT dress, this summer. First dawned by Kristen Stewart at the New Moon premiere, she began the must-have, little white dress phenomenoun! This dress is absolutely perfect for summer, it vibes an innocent, yet sophisticated look. All shapes and skin tones look amazing in LWD's. Try going for a one shoulder accent, as Kristen Stewart did, paired with a nude heel. Or a strapless cocktail dress, like Ashley Benson, paired with black accesories. But to be even more trendy, try a a satin blue shoe.

Hands Off!

The shoulder bag is the absolutely best bag for summer! It's great for concerts, or a chic event. This bag can be dressed casually, which is the most common way to wear the bag. Or be glitzed up for an important night on the town. Luckily, these trending bags can vary from a cheap steal, to the next two months rent. Lauren Conrad, is a great example of how to class up a look with a one shoulder bag. This look is fun, free, and screams summer!

Red Hot!

Red colored denim is the right pop of color to be wearing this fall. It adds drama to any outfit, without making you look childish. These red jeans, in my opinion, are the icing on the cake to a perfect fall wardorbe. These jeans go great with a cardigan layered over a vintage tee. Or to class up the look, try the jeans with a a ruffled top. Cheryl Cole pulls off the trending colored jeans well, with an embelished tee. This look is a perfect way to bring a pop of color, at the club, during daytime.

Cheryl looks radiant in these cool, red colored jeans.

Maxi Madness!

During the chilly summer nights, you want something to keep you warm, yet cool. Well maxi skirts will do just that. Color blocking maxi skirts and blouses is becoming very trendy. Also, belting maxi skirts looks amazing, since it adds a waist to anyone figure. Vanessa Hudgens is known for her maxi skirts, and boho style. This trending skirt is great for a windy summer night, or a daytime fall look.

Corduroys and Plaid!

So courduroys may not seem that feminine, or so much as a basic to you. But this fall corduroys and plaid will be on your mind. These two items speak fall to me in so many ways, the "I just stole this from my boyfriend's closet", type of vibe. But they also remind me of RENT, the grungy, and broke type of feel as well. Blake Lively works the look so well in her blue corduroys, but sadly without plaid. But plaid isn't always needed to complete this fall look, you can rock corduroys and an old t-shirt. Or plaid with cuffed jeans, works just as well.

Sarah rocks her cuffed corduroys, but without faithful plaid.

Blake wears her Vince corduroys to perfection, paired with a snakeskin bag.

Comfort Is Everything!

Sloucy sweaters may not appeal to you as, tres chic. But this coming season, sweaters will be played up by big belts, and hobo bags. Sloucy sweaters are the perfect way to feel comfy yet somewhat savy, all at once. This trending item looks great with a wide-legged trouser, or dark washed skinny jean. When I think of fall, I think of Thanksgiving, warm oranges, and brown-neutrals. So try finding a sweater in chocolate, mocha, or orange. Sheane Grimes looks total geek chic in her sweater getup.

Vanessa cool and collected in her charcol sweater.

Grimes rocking her inner nerd, in her stripped sweater.

Definetly Denim!

Denim dresses will be heading toward your closet this coming fall. The comfy, classic dress can be layered over a fun blouse, or even polka-dot tights. These usually cheap dresses, are an essential in any gal's closet. Alexa Chung, was one of the first celebrities to show her support for the trending overall-like, denim dress. For shoes try pairing the dress with a moccasin boot, and knee-high socks. Or for a more put together look, try a sparkly ballet flat.

Alexa rocks this denim frock, along with a pair of moccasin boots.

Also, try wearing this denim dress from Moschino's Cheap and Chic line.

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy 4th of July to all! So pondering how to dress this holiday, well look no further. Marc Jacobs is coming to your rescue, with his patriotic jersey dress. Which in my opinion shows off your love for the USA, and incorporates red, white, and blue. But, if your looking to dress down, try a simple red romper like Aimee Teegarden did. In which she looks sleek and simple, yet adds a pop of color with her turquoise necklace. Which ever outfit you choose, I'm sure you'll look ridiculously ah-mazing!

Marc by Marc Jacobs jersey dress will have you looking, "Proud To Be An American".

Aimee looks like perfection in this fabulous red romper.

Zig and Zag!

When you think of a zig zag print I'm sure your thinking, childish. But this summer and entering autumn this print will be making its way to your closet. This fun and youthful print looks great on any body shape, unlike stripes. Missoni was definetly one of the first design houses to include the funky print, consistantly in their lines. This print looks fabulous on shorts, which gives them an edgy, boho feel. But you could also try Jessica Alba's look, for a night on the town in her sizzly number.

These Forever21 zig zag shorts will definetly keep your bottom on trend.
