Holiday Hysteria!

So when you think Christmas sweaters, I'm sure you think a) ick, or b) hey that reminds me I need to call Aunt Sue. But this fast approaching holiday season, I'm so excited to say, these ugly sweaters are so in! Your guide to picking the absolute best X-mas sweater is to pick a favorite X-mas figure, like a snowman, a reindeer, Santa? When you've picked your figure, look for very Christmasy colors, like green, red, black, or gray. And if you're on a budget like most families this season, try looking at Wal-Mart, Target, or even The Salvation Army. Hopefully this will help you pick a fun sweater for the upcoming holiday! Happy Holidays to all : ) Talk to you next year!

Infinity And Beyond!

So since the holidays have arrived, the weather is changing! Which means for people like me, it's getting chilly! So the perfect way to stay warm this winter is...the infinity scarf! It's absolutely amazing, there are so many ways to wear it, and it goes fabulous with virtually any outfit. So my personal favorite way of wearing it is looped around my neck twice, looks great for any occasion! Another choice of wearing it is just to leave it haning around your neck, but you need to be confident and chic to rock this look! If your chic enough for this look, defineitly wear it with a dark wash pair of skinnies, and some killer knee-high boots! Sounds like perfection to me! And the third way to wear this adorable scarf, is to wrap it once around your neck, and then partially hang it on your head! You have to absolutely certain you can make this work, like I said confidence is everything, and if you're not it'll show! But have fun with this amazing, conventional scarf!

Ginormous Graphic Tees!

So I know its getting chilly, with the changing of seasons and all. But you can still rock a cute graphic tee but layered of course. So when looking for a tee in the store or in your closet, look for one with an old 80's rock band. Or like in my case you weren't born around that era, and don't want to wear a tee shirt like that without seeming like an idiot! Try going for an "Saved By the Bell", or "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" tee shirt. And if you want to go a little funky, layer the tee shirt obver a pair of polka dot tights, or just a black pair of leggings. And be for I forget, make sure your tee shirt is absolutely ginormous! It's way cutier like that, and much more easier to create and outfit with. But if the legging look isn't working for you, try layering with a cute scarf. And more specificly a infinity scarf, which is basically a large round scarf! Have fun all you little fashionistas out there!

Nicki's look may be a tad out there for the everyday gal, but she knows how to rock it!

Bananas For Beanies!

So you may think these trendy hats have just appeared on the radar, but oh how wrong you are! These comfy little beanies, have been around in the fashion world since the 1900's. But, let's not get into that. I have a beanie collection of my own, and I know the only thing that matters when I'm wearing it is, comfort! Try wearing it with a cute pair of skinnies, an oversized t-shirt, and a statement worthy pair of ankle boots! Ugh, I'm already dying just imagining this showstopper of an outfit! And also try looking for a beanie that is knit, and bright! You'll be turning heads just from the site of your fabulous beanie!

Camel Couture!

So it's already the middle of fall and it's getting chilly out (if you live where there are all four seasons). So whats the best way to make an outfit absolute perfection...add an a camel coat! And an oversized one at that. A camel coat is great for fall because its classic and beautifully monochramatic! And you may just think this coat is only for cool fall/winter nights your wrong! If you live where the sun is shining all the time, you can still rock this. Try pairing the coat with cuffed jeans, a cool sweater, and black or camel ankle boots. You want to make the main focus of your outfit the jacket of course! Have a good time adding your own little twist, on this trending camel colored coat!

Lavish Loafers!

Ok, so I know in my recent blog post all I've been talking about is shoes, shoes, shoes! But forgive me, I just have to let you know about my latest obsession...loafers! These geek chicy shoes are in my opinion, the perfect fall accessory. They go great with almost anything, cuffed jeans, shorts with tights, you name it! My favorite pair this season are the glitter loafers from Topshop. They bring the perfect amount of bling to any boring outfit, as well as a little holiday touch! These cute slip-ons, are a steal that can be worn in any season. Have fun!

Ankle Wedges, A Must!

While the month of October is drifting to an end, the ankle wedge mania is still upon us! I am totally obsessed with these trending booties, they work for any body shape, and any style type. Whether your gothic, boho-hipster, or preppy, I'm sure these ah-mazing wedges will do just the trick! The key to rocking these chic little booties is to wear them with a pair of skinnies, and a fitted blouse or blazer! Try looking for wedges with print, like cheetah or leopard, then make the shoes the main focus of your outfit! Which will draw lots of positive attention to your stylish feet! Have a good time dolls!

High-Waisted Honey!

My absolute new obsession is the high-waisted skirt! I mean wouldn't you just die for the perfect Mad Men scenario at the office one day? I know i definitely would! The key to rocking this chic look is to first off find the, perfect skirt! Try looking for a solid with a bright color like orange, sherbert, or even a cool blue. The skirt should be the center of attention in this case! To top off the look, go for a pleated long sleeve top, or ruffled. This is the perfect office to night-time look, and is oh so sexy either way! Have fun!

Neons and Neutrals!

This fall it's all about brightening up the season's usual glum color palette. Since the fall does mean, chilly weather, trenchs are an absolute must! And especially this season, I'd go for a more neutral tone. Seem a bit to plain? Well fear not because neon is on its way to rescue, your bland fall color scheme. But when i say neons, im being specific. Which means pink, yellow, and green. Yes, these colors are pretty basic, but their color range has so much to work with! Try layering a beige trench over a green cardi, or for something a bit simple, wear a neutral dress and accesorize with all neon! Have fun brigtening up your glum fall with these fun colors!

Starry Eyed!

It's all about stars this season! Yes, it may be sort of an odd trend to be rocking this fall but, you've got to admit it look super cool! You may have had a glance of the trending pattern this summer at the Teen Choice Awards, being rocked by Fergie. The absolute key to pulling off this look is not to take it to serious, try not to be so keen on matching. Another way to rock this look is by wearing the stars as a big statement piece, like Evan Rachel Wood. She also works a vintage tee and leather jacket! Have a good time with this rockin' pattern!

Sequin Scarlet!

Fall, a time of togetherness, warmth...and sequins? Yes, this season the rules of fall have changed. A pop of color here and there is now fashionably acceptable, and sequins is now too! Thanks to big-time names like Prada, and Louis Vuitton, who have made sequins a must-have trend, everywhere. The key of mastering this look is to go for of a mermaid feel, or everlasting feel. Colors that are absolutely amazing for this trend are orange, green, black, and blue. As you may notice most of the colors listed are more mellow colors, not so bright, since this trend is already a traffic stopping worthy. Celebs like Emma Watson have definitely masted this trend, though she only wore Prada in the July issue of Vogue, she can still work it. Have fun ladies!

Bright Tights!

So I'm guessing when you think of fall, you're thinking neutrals, reds, and warm oranges. Well this season things are shaking up, eccentric yellows and blues are becoming quite the trend! Take a look at J. Manuel's Fall 2011 show, Attitude, which features flashes of color in his tights like, orange, yellow, blue and purple. I personally am excited for the vibrant colors to be a trend this season, it's nice to change things up, after-all that is the evolution of fashion! The pops of color haven't recently just popped up, just last year Oscar de la Renta featured red colored tights in his 2010 ad. Which, of course looked fabulous!

Polka Dotted Dream!

This autumn, you'll be needing to update your closet with a whole bunch of...polka dots! These famed, fun dots were always an on going trend in fashion, it was just a matter of the right color and right size. For instance, a yellow blouse dotted by wginormous white polka dots. Not so cute, in my book, I'd go with much more smaller dots. Since yellow is an already risky color to wear, why screw it up with a bunch of random huge dots? Instead, try a great little sweater, say maybe gray or black, then make sure the polka dots are big enough. When your working with more neutral colors, you want to have big dots. But with more eccentric colors, like red or green, you want small dots. Numerous designers such as, Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs, have brought back the infamous dots, and nailed it. Mila Kunis looks beautiful in her blue polka dotted Oscar de la Renta dress, and accessorizes amazingly.

Animal Attack!

This incoming fall will be bringing lots and lots of animal print! I know earlier this summer I blogged about animal print cardigans, which of course are so in! But also this season, you should expect to see many animal print on your feet! I personally am a big fan of leopard print wedges, they are a must in my book! Jessica Szohr rocks the fun trend, while exposing a little midriff as well.
The absolute key to pulling off this look is to not be afraid of mixing and matching print, and color. Don't be afraid to veer away from black, there's a whole bundle of colors out there, so take some risk.

The Jock Jacket!

Remember in high school when you dated that football jock, and he gave you his football jacket and all your friends thought it was a big deal? Well this fall it's a trend and its here to stay. The key to rocking a varsity jacket is to have it dress down a stylish outfit, but still very chic of course. Try Elle Fanning's take on the look, she wore a minimal maxi dress, and an orange varsity jacket. Or try Ciara's take, she wears a black and white varsity jacket with a white tee, and rolled jeans.
Which I think is the perfect back to school look, with a stylish twist.

Sky High!

The higher the better is the case this coming fall. And when i say higher i mean over the knee, higher. The key to pulling off this look is to expose all of the boot. So try wearing a mini dress with long sleeves, which says sexy, yet conservative. Jennifer Lopez is definitly a fan of the up and coming trend. You may also like to try wearing a pleated skirt with the boots, then pair it with a chunky sweater. This look says adorable, yet still sensual. For me knee high boots scream, fall so have fun mixing and matching outfits with these boots.

Lopez looks stunning in her suede knee highs, and black and white mini.

Welcome To The 60's!

This fall, the buzz is all about 60's mod. Thanks to lines like Prada, YSL, and Jason Wu, the then trend is making it's way back this season. The trick to mastering this style is color blocking. Start with a solid monochromatic, colored pant, and add a solid top. Try not to pair the outfit with many accessories, this season there's definitely a mix of 60's mod and minimal 90's, which i love. Boxy shaped peacoat, or dress is also making their marks. Have fun with this retro trend, just don't go too Mad Men-ish

Loving Leopard!

For this coming fall, leopard cardigans are the way to go. They are perfect for layering on a chilly, october afternoon. Or sitting outside drinking your Starbucks with your girlfriends. Leopard is also great beacause it virtually looks amazing with every color, except green and blue. Rachel Bilson is a fan of the trending print, and she wears it like perfection. Try a leopard cardi, black skinny jeans, white v-neck shirt, and nude knee-high boots! This print is fun and young, so play around with it.

Pointy Perfection!

This coming fall, it's all about the nails! And this season the more pointy they are, the better. These nails starting trending when they were first showcased at NYC Fashion Week Fall '11, at Jason Wu's show. He had a base color, then a gold "V" accent surrounding it. Though it may sound tricky, it's not as much of a hassel as it seems. The trick is to put the base color on first, let it dry, then add the "V" accent. It also adds a great flair to any autumn outfit!

Pink Pout!

So you may be thinking pink lips is so Jersey, gaudy, or cheap looking. But for summer, anyone can rock this trending pink lip color. This color looks great with a basic, dewy face. And a simple, minimal looking outfit. By going so chic and easy, the attention gets drawn to your lips. This summer, a medium shade is the way to go! Too light of a lip can drown you out, and too dark can make you look older. Emma Stone looks absolutely darling, in her soft pink lipstick.

Crop It Off!

Summer, a time of family get-togethers, pool parties, and..cut tops? Yes cut tops, they are the perfect, easy-going summer shirt for summer. They expose just enough stomach without reaching the slut-o-meter. And they pretty much come in all colors, and patterns. Like nautical stripes, neons, etc. Rihanna is surely the redeeming Queen of crop tops, in my opinion. The crop top can be worn in a laid back style, or more of a put together look, say for an event.

Scarf-tastic!

As you read the title of this post, you may be thinking scarves and summer? I don't think so.. Well think again, scarves have always been wearable in summer, but never really, done. A lightwieght, floraly patterned is a great basic scarf for the summer season. You can add it to jean cutoffs and a basic, white tee. It shows that you put some thought into the outfit, without trying too hard. Try wrapping it in a tight, round knot like Jessica Albla has done.

Little White Dress!

Yes, I'm sure you've heard LBD before, little white dress. But this summer the LWD is the trending IT dress, this summer. First dawned by Kristen Stewart at the New Moon premiere, she began the must-have, little white dress phenomenoun! This dress is absolutely perfect for summer, it vibes an innocent, yet sophisticated look. All shapes and skin tones look amazing in LWD's. Try going for a one shoulder accent, as Kristen Stewart did, paired with a nude heel. Or a strapless cocktail dress, like Ashley Benson, paired with black accesories. But to be even more trendy, try a a satin blue shoe.

Hands Off!

The shoulder bag is the absolutely best bag for summer! It's great for concerts, or a chic event. This bag can be dressed casually, which is the most common way to wear the bag. Or be glitzed up for an important night on the town. Luckily, these trending bags can vary from a cheap steal, to the next two months rent. Lauren Conrad, is a great example of how to class up a look with a one shoulder bag. This look is fun, free, and screams summer!

Red Hot!

Red colored denim is the right pop of color to be wearing this fall. It adds drama to any outfit, without making you look childish. These red jeans, in my opinion, are the icing on the cake to a perfect fall wardorbe. These jeans go great with a cardigan layered over a vintage tee. Or to class up the look, try the jeans with a a ruffled top. Cheryl Cole pulls off the trending colored jeans well, with an embelished tee. This look is a perfect way to bring a pop of color, at the club, during daytime.

Cheryl looks radiant in these cool, red colored jeans.
